Do you remember the old tune ‘Some guys have all the luck”? The players in Ivory FC would certainly fit that category as they have been voted the team that will take part in the ultimate football experience.  Thanks to NIVEA FOR MEN and a nationwide search, Ivory FC is going to be coached just like the England National Squad.

You might wonder why NIVEA FOR MEN have decided to take part in an exercise like this but it is to make a point.  The point is that if you take the time to prepare properly then it can make a huge difference to any outcome. You have to admit, they have a point.

So, Ivory FC are off to be coached by the likes of Terry Venables and Ray Wilkins, not to mention Ray Clemence.  They are going to benefit from their input in to their training sessions but it doesn’t end there.  The lucky team are going to be given advice on nutrion and a new Umbro kit.  

Best of all, they are going to be playing at some point in the near future against a team made up of England legends.

Carlo Ancelotti Confirms his Position

Carlo Ancelotti has denied reports he wants to quit Stamford Bridge.

The Italian has come under pressure recently following Chelsea’s third Premier League defeat - this time at the hands of Birmingham at the weekend, making it three losses from four games.

Chelsea’s owners recently sacked Carlo’s assistant and right hand man, Ray Wilkins. Ancelotti received a called from the League Managers Association after it had been reported that the Chelsea manager had become disillusioned at losing Wilkins as his assistant, suggesting that the Italian would leave his post.

Speaking ahead of Tuesday's Uefa Champions League meeting with MSK Zilina, Ancelotti said: "I don't know if it's enough to clarify my position today to close these rumours and speculation.

"These rumours are totally untrue. I don't know why they came out. I didn't speak with the LMA. They called me last night when I was at home; quiet, to find out what was happening.  I have my contract until 2012, here, in this club. I've said a lot of times that I'd like to stay here.

"I love not just this club, but these players. I have a lot of confidence in these players, in this squad, so there's no reason to change my ideas. I don't know if this is enough to speak about all this.

"I think that when the team don't reach the right results, obviously the coach is under pressure. Obviously I am under pressure because I'd like Chelsea to win every game, but just this.
 
"I am focused on my job and to give my team, my club ... to make us play better than we are at this moment. Just this."

Ray Wilkins leaves Chelsea

Wilkins leaves with immediate effect

Chelsea have just announced that they will not be reneweing the contract of Ray Wilkins and that he will leave the club with immediate effect, Wilkins was part of the setup with Gianluca Vialli, once Vialli was sacked, he left with the Italian to join Watford and after had a spell with Millwall. He was then re-appointed assistant manager to Luiz Felipe Scolari at Chelsea in September 2008 when Steve Clarke departed to West Ham United with Gianfranco Zola,

When Scolari was sacked from Chelsea, Wilkins was appointed caretaker-manager until Gus Hiddink became the temporary manager in 2008 until the end of the season, Wilkins once again took the role as assistant and continued when Carlo Ancelotti was appointed manager.

This will come as a shock to many Blues fans as Wilkins looked to have struck up a good relationship was Carlo Ancelotti since last season. Ray Wilkins was a part of the coaching staff that helped Chelsea win their heroic double.
