Fifa Subject To Corruption Claims

Sepp Blatter will be investigated
David Cameron has backed calls for Fifa to suspend its presidential election next week after the two rival candidates were accused of breaching rules.

Current president Sepp Blatter and his challenger Mohamed Bin Hammam are due before the world governing body's ethics committee on Sunday to answer the charges.

Bin Hammam is accused of bribing Fifa officials in the Caribbean to win votes while Blatter is accused of failing to probe bribery allegations.

Fifa vice-president Jack Warner is also facing bribery claims. All three deny any wrongdoing and have issued statements protesting their innocence. Best Blogger Tips
