Martin O'Neil is the New West Ham Manager

It is official.  Avram Grant is no longer the Manager of West Ham.  He is to be replaced by Martin O'Neill today.   

Martin O'Neill will replace Avram Grant after West Ham's match versus Arsenal, BBC Sports has just announced.

Martin O'Neill, who already has the OBE, was born 1 March 1952 in Kilrea, Northern Ireland.  He is a Northern Irish association football manager and former player. Until resigning the post on 9 August 2010, he was manager of Aston Villa.
