Steve Morison Confident Of Premier League Success

Norwich City new striker Steve Morison has insisted he can score the goals to keep his new club in the Premier League, after scoring 17 goals last season for Millwall.

The Welsh forward is confident of making a successful start this season campaign, after helping Millwall secure promotion to the Championship two seasons ago, he has now vowed to help keep Norwich in the top-tier of English football.

The 27-year-old has moved up from non-league football two years ago playing for Stevenage Borough and suggests Norwich can emulate the success of Stoke City and Wigan Athletic by staying in the Premier League.

"Once you get into the top flight you want to stay in it because so much hard work is required to get to that stage," Morison said.

"The Premier League is where this club belongs and I'm sure that the manager and the team will do everything they can to make us stay there.

"The performances of previously promoted clubs have given everyone hope and belief of staying in the top flight and that is a big thing for sides that get to this level.

"You need belief and heart to have any chance of making that happen and the likes of West Brom and Wigan have shown that clubs that go up don't necessarily come back down." Best Blogger Tips
